The Faultline Column

This lamp features a commanding, vertically oriented column base sculpted from a single piece of ancient, deeply grooved timber mounted to a crisp, light-toned geometric wooden pedestal. The wood base is defined by a dramatic, cavernous vertical crevice running down its center, exposing a highly textured, shadowed heartwood core. A premium finish brings out a rich palette of reddish-brown, espresso, and warm amber tones, beautifully contrasted by raw, hand-sanded golden-honey highlights along its outer ridges. Seated atop this organic pillar is a wide, low-profile cylindrical drum shade wrapped in a fine, clean white linen fabric. When illuminated, the light glows warmly downward into the hollowed-out core of the wood, catching the polished contours of the bark and accentuating the deep, mysterious shadows of the central fissure.
